Recorded live, the Murphey School Radio Show is a briskly-paced variety show with music in many styles, hilarious skits poking fun at the communities of the Triangle, and memorable readings by our literary guests. Two shows in one day -- one in the afternoon, and one in the evening.
The matinee performance will run 3pm-5pm. Doors to the building open at 2:15pm, and seating will begin at 2:30pm.
The evening performance will run 7pm-9pm. Doors to the building open a 6:15pm and seating will begin at 6:30pm.
The radio show is a project of the generous folks at Shared Visions Foundation, enabling 100% of the donation you give for admission ($40 matinee/$50 evening performance) to go directly to the local nonprofit organizations selected as beneficiaries. For this November 9 production, we are raising money and public awareness for EL FUTURO, a nonprofit outpatient clinic that provides comprehensive mental health services in Durham, Orange and Chatham Counties for Latino families.
