Recorded live, the Murphey School Radio Show is a briskly-paced variety show with music in many styles, hilarious skits poking fun at the communities of the Triangle, and memorable readings by our literary guests. Two shows in one day -- one in the afternoon, and one in the evening.
The matinee performance will run from 3pm-5pm. Doors to the building open at 2:15pm, and seating will begin at 2:30pm.
The radio show is a project of the generous folks at Shared Visions Foundation, enabling 100% of the donation you give for admission ($40 matinee/$50 evening performance) to go directly to the two wonderful, local nonprofit organizations selected as beneficiaries each time the show "airs." For this November production, the beneficiaries are the arts education services of The ArtsCenter in Carrboro and The Carolina Theatre of Durham, Inc.
